Orkney Caravan Park
Orkney Caravan Park is the perfect campsite offering space for caravans, motorhomes, tents and two high-quality Camping Pods. The campsite is adjacent to The Pickaquoy Centre, Orkney’s only sports and leisure centre offering an endless choice of activities for all ages to enjoy.
Booking Allocation
Pitch allocation is subject to change up until the point of arrival. If you have requested a certain pitch for reasons such as accessibility requirements, please indicate in the Booking Information section when completing your reservation and we will try to honour these wherever possible. Please be advised that during busy periods we are not always able to accommodate these requests.
Cancelation Policy
Please note, if your cancellation is made 31 days or more before your arrival date, you will be entitled to a full refund. If your cancellation is made 30 days or fewer before your arrival date, you will not be entitled to a refund. We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover your losses in the event of cancelling your booking.

We are delighted that The Pickaquoy Centre is due to host 5 out of the 12 sports throughout the duration of the 2025 International Island Games This is a once-in-a-lifetime event, which promises to bring great excitement and a sense of community to Orkney.
The Orkney Caravan Park (based at the Pickaquoy Centre) will remain open throughout the games however the Pickaquoy Centre will undergo a staggered closure for public usage starting from Monday 7th July. Our Main Arena, Athletics Track and Infield/Outfield pitches, will be closed from Monday 7th of July. Thereafter, on Wednesday 9th July, the remainder of the facility will close for public use, including our Pools, Gym, S&C Gym, Group X Studios, Squash Courts, Soft Play Area, Bouldering Cave and The Phoenix Cinema.
The Picky Café will remain open for the duration of the Games and will have extended opening hours throughout.
Normal operations will resume on Sunday, 20th July.
Road Closures
Please be aware that there will be a road closure on Friday 18th July from 08:00 – 11:45 that will directly prevent access to and from the Campsite during this time. All events for the Orkney Island Games will be free for public spectators to attend.
